VBS News

Today 6/2/2012 - Just two more weeks!  How exciting!  Teachers – supply lists are due today.  Reminder: Teacher/helpers are needed at their registration table by 6:15 each evening.  Meals will be provided Monday – Thursday at 5:30 pm for workers and their families.

 Before we begin our Amazing Wonders journey, here are a few last minute thoughts:

·         VBS is June 17-21, 6:30-9:00 pm (need a few helpers each night)

·         Family night is Friday, June 22, 6:30-8:00 pm (need helpers for food prep. food service and games)

·         An offering will be collected each night for OCC shoebox shipping.  Adults vs. Kids…and if you will recall, the Kids left the Adults in the dust last year.

·         Product donations will be collected each night for OCC.  Focus during VBS is on bars of soap, toothpaste, washcloths, combs, and school supplies.

·         We have window signs available.  If you work in retail or other high visibility places and can place a sign in the window, please let us know.

·         Everyone can help make VBS a success! We are again asking Sunday School classes and the church family to support VBS financially.  Your donation will be used for craft supplies, nightly and family night snacks and meals for the workers and their families.  Please give your donations to Hasty, Martin, or Debbi.  Thank you!

·         We are in need of two adults to supervise the Recreation time each night.  Please see the directors today!

And most of all, please remember VBS in your prayers.  Please cover the children, their families, our workers and anyone associated with VBS.  Your prayers are the heart of this ministry.
