Monthly Prayer Letter - November 2007

Prayer warriors, Brothers and sisters
We greet you in the name above all names and King of all Kings! We salute you.

We are so thankful for all of your intercession on our behalf as we labor in the fields where the Master has planted us. We are excited that during this special time of year you are going to remember to pray for the work that is going all around the world.

We had a fairly busy month this past month. It was an exciting month as we saw God working in ways that are hard to understand using faulty tools, such as we are, to help fulfill His great plan and purpose in Southeast Asia. We saw 4 new brothers and sisters going swimming which was a picture of changed lives in one of our cell groups. It was one family and a family friend. They believed and then they went swimming after having some training and teaching time

God has also brought us another group who are interested in studying the Bible. This group is near another group that we have been working with but they did not know each other so, God orchestrated that we would meet another group of Thai people who were interested in starting a Bible study. The Thais are opening their home for the Burmese to meet together and fellowship together. It is a step in the right direction. We are going to be working with them after the New Year to see what happens with that group.

We are in the process of training the Thai believers to look around to see where God is already at work and join in with Him. Once the group forms we will be involved in the training of the Burmese to take over the leadership of the group and we will be in the background coaching and training and mentoring.

On a personal note many of you prayed for Ben's older brother Fred, who had terminal cancer. On 12-03-07 Fred passed away in his sleep. He knows his eternal destiny. He now is no longer suffering and his body has no more pain. The Great Healer healed him completely. We do not mourn as those without hope because we know that we will have a great reunion when we get to our eternal destiny of Heaven.

Our Prayer Requests are many:
1. Pray we will continue to see God drawing all people to Himself.
2. Pray for more teammates who will join our team and work alongside of us in the work.
3. Pray for 5-6 new believers who will be baptized 12/09/07 from another one of our cell groups.
4. Pray as we make plans to celebrate Christmas in 5-6 villages. Pray that the people will be receptive and responsive to the Gospel message. Pray for us as we will be traveling a lot during this time to all the different areas God is giving us to minister.
5. Pray for strength and safety for us as we follow God's direction
6. Pray that God will continue to give us opportunities to minister to those who do not know and have never been introduced to the real reason for the Christmas season.
7. Pray for our son and his roommate and Brenda's 2 nieces who are traveling from America to celebrate Christmas with us.
