Prayer Warriors;
Greetings in the Name of the Lord!!!!
This past month just flew by. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating New Year's day. We have had a fairly busy month of seeing God move in our lives and the lives of the people we are working to reach.

Our month started out like the last one ended with us being busy teaching and training others to know and tell others the most important news in their lives. We had both of our children with us as they were both home from University and Boarding School. We had a wonderful time as a family. We continue to work with children on the weekends and ministering their needs as well as finding some time to encourage the children to be creative.

Burmese Sea Children Ministry

We saw 6 Burmese people invite Jesus into their lives on Christmas morning in a village that we are working with. That was a really great Christmas present for our family. We were really encouraged that God would draw people to Himself and allow us to be a part of the process. God was not finished giving us opportunities to see Him work. We had the opportunity to see more new believers go swimming at another gathering.

We had to take our daughter back to Boarding School and we had a pleasant trip up there to do that. It was good time to have some pictures taken of our family.

We had some good friends visit us and encourage us as we make more plans and have more opportunities to share the good news. We really enjoyed our time together.

The following week we had a group come up and help teach Evangelism and Church planting seminar to both the Thai and Burmese. The seminar was very well received by both groups. We have been training both of the churches in the necessity of starting new groups that will lead to new churches. One of the Thai families were so excited about this training that they invited all of their neighbors to come to their home and break bread together.

We have also been prayer-walking in an area that has no witness and with the group from the seminar we went and prayer-walked the area and we passed out tracts. There was much interest as well as a few people responded to the gospel message wanting to place their faith and trust in Christ.

Prayer Requests:

  1. Pray for the believers to apply what they have learned at this last training seminar.
  2. Pray the Lord of the harvest to send workers into the field as they are white unto harvest.
  3. Pray for Brenda's shoulder to heal as she goes through Physical Therapy for the next month.
  4. Pray for safety as we travel to minister around our area.
  5. Pray for upcoming opportunities for training seminars in other areas with more Christians.
  6. Pray for our Burmese Pastor as he is having trouble with visa and passport for his family. They have been separated for nearly 4 months.
  7. Pray for direction as we make plans to start new Bible Studies.
  8. Pray for one another as are prompted by the Spirit so that we all can be part of the God working all around the world.
